Job summary

Stantec is seeking an experienced Project Manager for energy and resources to lead multi‑discipline teams on thermal generation projects. You will act as seller‑doer, supporting business development and delivering projects across North America, including owner’s engineer or detailed design services for simple cycle, combined cycle and repowering.

You will ensure alignment with PM frameworks, manage risks, and coach junior staff while traveling to US and Canadian offices as needed.

Qualifications

• Extensive engineering design and construction experience on power plant projects.
• Proven project management leadership with cross-functional teams.
• Experience across EPC, DBB, and ECI delivery models.
• Strong organizational skills across multiple offices/geographies.
• Business development, proposal, and budget development experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management leadership to multi‑discipline teams.
• Lead energy projects/programs and ensure best practices.
• Coordinate with leadership, discipline leads, clients, and vendors.
