Job summary

Stantec in the United States seeks a seasoned Project Manager for the Energy & Resources line to lead multi‑discipline teams on thermal generation projects across North America. You will guide Owner’s Engineer or Detailed Engineering/Design efforts for simple cycle, combined cycle and repowering projects, delivering on time, within budget and with client satisfaction.

You will mentor staff, contribute to business development, and advance PM best practices while coordinating with leadership,

Qualifications

• 15+ years of power generation project experience (Owner’s Engineer or detailed engineering/design).
• 5+ years in business development or as a seller‑doer.
• Professional Engineer license preferred but not required.
• Willingness to travel to US and Canadian offices and sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management expertise to our team.
• Lead energy projects/programs across North America.
• Support PM best practices and methodologies.
• Coordinate with leadership, clients, and subcontractors.
• Manage resources, schedule, budget, and quality.
• Lead proposals and mentor junior staff.
