Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Project Manager for our Energy & Resources line to lead multi‑discipline teams on thermal generation projects. You will drive Owner’s Engineer or Detailed Engineering/Design services for simple cycle, combined cycle, and repowering initiatives across North America, delivering projects to time and budget.

You will champion client service, manage risk, align project objectives, and mentor staff while contributing to business development as a seller‑doer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
• Minimum 15 years of experience on power generation projects.
• Minimum 5 years in business development or as a “seller‑doer.”
• Professional Engineer registration preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management expertise to energy projects.
• Lead multi‑discipline project teams across EPC, DBB and ECI delivery models.
• Coordinate with leadership, discipline leads, clients and subcontractors.
• Manage resources, schedule, budget and quality; monitor risks and issues.
• Support business development and proposal activities as needed.
• Mentor junior staff and achieve annual utilization targets.
