Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Project Manager / Technical Lead with a strong background in water conveyance to lead planning, design, and delivery of municipal urban storm drain, sewer, and drinking water conveyance projects in New England. You will work with a diverse team to grow our conveyance business and deliver innovative solutions.

The role emphasizes leadership, client relations, and collaboration with research and innovation teams, with a hybrid work model requiring in-office presence

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (environmental, civil) from an accredited university.
• Minimum 15 years of project management experience in a consulting environment, focusing on conveyance and water infrastructure design.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain within 6 months; PMP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of design professionals and technicians.
• Mentor and supervise staff and develop high-performing project teams.
• Perform business development and client relationship activities to grow project wins.
• Develop proposals, scope, and level of effort in collaboration with multiple business lines.
• Oversee design and construction management of conveyance projects; ensure budget, schedule, and quality objectives are met.
• Coordinate quality assurance/quality control and regulatory coordination for projects.
