AEP in New Albany, OH is seeking a Project Manager-Senior-Principal to lead complex projects with strong leadership, planning, and cross‑functional coordination. The role focuses on initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and closing projects to maximize customer satisfaction and value.

You will apply both Waterfall and Agile practices, manage schedules and budgets, and ensure a safe, efficient delivery. Mentoring teammates and effective stakeholder communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, business or related field with 3 years of experience; or Associate degree with 5 years; or HS diploma with 7 years of experience.
• Experience in outage management, project controls, cost estimating, and contracting is preferred.
• PMP certification is preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

• Plan, organize, direct, coordinate and supervise project activities.
• Apply Waterfall and Agile methods to manage projects.
• Communicate project status to stakeholders and leadership.
• Mentor and supervise junior project managers and teams.
• Develop procurement plans and manage outside vendor contracts.
• Closeout projects and analyze outcomes against objectives.
