Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree as described or equivalent experience with 3+ years in project management for SG7, or 5+ years for SG8/SG9.
• Experience with outage management, project controls, and cost estimating is preferred.
• PMP certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, coordinate and supervise project activities.
• Apply Waterfall and Agile principles to project management.
• Ensure safety through the AEP System Safety Process and Zero Harm initiatives.
• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and procurement.
• Communicate project status to stakeholders and manage vendor performance.
• Mentor junior project managers and coordinate sub-team activities.
• Prepare closeout analyses to measure project success and benefits.
