Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Project Manager to lead welding, fabrication, and steel-erection projects from award to closeout. You will coordinate clients, engineering, fabrication, and field crews while ensuring schedule, cost, and safety compliance across AWS, ASME, ABS, NavSea, OSHA Subpart R standards.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a track record in structural steel projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; technical or engineering degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in manufacturing, welding, or industrial operations.
• Minimum 5 years PM experience in structural steel, fabrication, or erection.
• Experience reading structural/shop drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Develop project execution plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
• Coordinate detailing, procurement, fabrication, delivery, and erection activities.
• Conduct jobsite assessments and constructability reviews.
• Manage budgets, cost tracking, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Review drawings, specs, and contract documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Oversee welding procedures, fabrication sequencing, and erection planning.
• Monitor safety compliance and coordinate with field teams.
• Handle RFIs, submittals, change orders, and contract mods.
• Lead progress meetings and maintain client relationships.
• Perform QA inspections and ensure adherence to standards.
• Complete punch lists and closeout documentation.
