Job summary

Koniag Professional Services, LLC a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Senior Project Manager with a Secret security clearance to support KPS and our government customer in Arlington, VA.

Essential functions include leading high-visibility initiatives, developing charters, schedules, and performance metrics, and delivering executive-ready communications. The role requires a PMP, 10+ years of PM experience, and strong MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
• 10+ years of project management experience.
• PMP certification required.
• Strong communications and leadership to brief executives.
• Experience with Federal government programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level project management support for high-visibility initiatives.
• Lead planning, coordination, and execution of projects with charters, timelines, milestones, and metrics.
• Establish and maintain integrated project schedules and tracking tools.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and dependencies, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Develop execution plans and deliver results within defined timelines.
• Serve as the primary coordination point across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Facilitate meetings and executive briefings to drive alignment and decisions.
• Prepare leadership communications, including weekly status reports.
• Maintain project documentation and records per Government standards.
• Capture decisions, risks, and dependencies; track action items and follow-ups.
