Job summary

BD is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead complex projects within a regulated healthcare technology environment in the USA/PR region. The role focuses on driving project plans, budgets, and stakeholder alignment to deliver high-impact medtech initiatives.

The ideal candidate will bring 8+ years of hands-on project management experience, strong leadership, excellent communication, and a proven track record of delivering on time and within budget in fast-paced settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 8 years’ hands-on experience managing projects of increasing complexity.
• Demonstrated experience in Project Management methodology.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management to drive objectives.
• Extensive understanding of principles, theories, and concepts for managing large scale project plans.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Strong budgeting and financial management experience.
• Leadership skills and ability to influence change.
• Experience facilitating change with management and executive stakeholders.
• Experience within a regulated environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to interact professionally across all levels of the organization.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Adherence to company rules and safety/environment policies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of tasks as defined in the project management plan to achieve the project goals and actively manage project risk.
• Determine and discern detailed requirements on larger scale projects to establish the project deliverables, and manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs.
• Actively lead PMO continuous improvement activities.
• Assess project performance to monitor progress, identify variances, perform corrective actions and communicate to all stakeholders.
• Establish and maintain team members and project stakeholder relationships, expectations, and communications.
• Manage project closure activities, including lessons learned and driving changes for continuous improvement.
• Serve as a PMO subject matter expert, guiding and mentoring other project managers; demonstrate expertise in a business process, professional discipline, market, or product.
