Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking a Project Manager to lead complex healthcare initiatives within the PMO framework. You will establish plans, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure delivery against scope, schedule, cost and quality targets while maintaining governance and stakeholder communications.

The role emphasizes proactive leadership, early risk visibility, and a disciplined approach to delivering value and operational readiness in a regulated healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• ~1 - 3 years experience in a project manager role and/or in a project leadership role
• Five or more years of progressively responsible experience leading projects, initiatives, or complex cross-functional work.
• Experience developing and maintaining project charters, integrated plans, RAID logs, decision logs, status reports, and stakeholder communications.
• Experience managing scope, schedule, dependencies, risks, issues, decisions, changes, and resource constraints.
• Experience in healthcare, insurance, regulated operations, technology-enabled delivery, or another complex environment.
• Experience with structured project lifecycle, governance, audit, or compliance requirements.
• Experience with both business and technology initiatives and with predictive, agile, or hybrid delivery approaches.
• Experience using portfolio-management and collaboration platforms to support transparent project controls and reporting.
• PMP certification or comparable project management training or certification. Change-management or agile certification is also valued where relevant.
