Job summary

Suffolk Construction is seeking a Senior MEP Superintendent to lead on mission-critical projects in a dynamic environment. The role requires directing field teams, managing safety, quality, and schedule adherence while coordinating with owners, architects, and subcontractors.

The ideal candidate brings 8–12 years of progress supervision experience, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills to drive project success from start-up through turnover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in applicable discipline or related field.
• 8–12 years of construction supervision experience.
• Licenses applicable to the area and strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, manage, and document all day-to-day job site activities including OSHA safety compliance.
• Direct field personnel according to the project plan and Suffolk supervisory principles.
• Communicate issues, events, performance, and progress daily to the Project Manager.
• Report problems promptly to enable cost-effective solutions.
• Establish relationships with Clients, Suffolk team, subcontractors, and authorities.
• Lead start-up and turnover activities with project leadership.
• Develop and maintain construction schedules and baselines.
• Ensure safety plans, quality benchmarks, and inspections are followed.
