Job summary

Puget Sound Energy is seeking a seasoned Project Manager III to lead medium-impact projects within our Customer & System Projects team in Washington. This role focuses on scope, schedule, and budget management across a portfolio of projects, with minimal supervision and exposure to regulatory and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Six years of relevant work experience managing simple to medium complexity projects.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to reach agreement.
• Knowledge of scheduling, estimating, budgeting and finance principles.
• Experience with budgeting, procurement and contract administration.
• Ability to manage resources across cross-functional teams.
• Analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Assembles and leads multi-disciplinary project teams and defines project scope.
• Manages customer relationships as the primary point of contact.
• Identifies customer needs, sets expectations, and shares alternatives.
• Plans upfront to minimize costs, risks, and change orders.
• Ensures compliance with codes, standards, and operational requirements.
• Develops schedule and budget, and forecasts for projects.
• Supports emergency response work as needed.
