Job summary

Puget Sound Energy in Washington state is seeking a Project Coordinator to oversee project teams, report on status, and coordinate budgets and schedules. You will engage with PMs, service providers and internal customers to ensure project goals are met on time and within scope.

The role emphasizes communication, teamwork and adherence to safety and corporate standards, with opportunities to support various project initiatives across the organization.

Qualifications

• Two year Associate's Degree or better in Engineering or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• At least two years relevant work experience.
• Strong written and verbal communications and teamwork.
• Basic knowledge of cost estimating and scheduling concepts.
• Knowledge of budgeting, procurement and contract administration.
• Ability to make decisions independently and influence others.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of project manager, provide oversight to team members.
• Facilitate communication between PMs, service providers and internal customers.
• Review and coordinate project documentation and deliverables; assist with tasks as directed.
• Address customer concerns and coordinate resolution.
• Support internal/external customers with technical assistance.
• Apply basic project management concepts and track milestones.
• Report progress on project and program status as directed.
• Support emergency response work as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
