Puget Sound Energy is seeking a seasoned Project Manager III to lead scope, schedule and budget across projects with medium risk and cross-agency coordination in the energy sector. This role emphasizes stakeholder alignment and resource planning to deliver programs on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.
• At least six years relevant work experience, including managing simple to medium complexity projects.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to bring about agreement; ability to write clear, concise narratives.
• General knowledge of budgeting, procurement and contract administration.
• Leadership to energize a multidisciplinary work team.

Responsibilities

• Assembles and leads multi-disciplinary project teams and defines scope and deadlines.
• Communicate and manage the customer relationship as the primary point of contact.
• Identify customer needs, set reasonable expectations and share alternatives.
• Plan upfront and advocate for objectives to minimize costs and change orders and maximize efficiency.
• Validate scope and ensure compliance with codes, standards, and design requirements.
• Monitor schedule and budget development, management and forecasting.
