Job summary

AltaGas is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning and delivery of high-impact strategic initiatives and major infrastructure projects in the United States. The role involves coordinating across the utilities enterprise and may require travel within service territories.

A PMP certification and a strong background in project governance are essential. The role emphasizes defining scope, cost, schedule, and delivering outcomes through a structured PMO framework.

Qualifications

• PM certification (PMP) required.
• 7+ years of progressively responsible project management experience.
• Experience leading complex cross-functional projects or strategic initiatives.
• Experience in PMO or structured project governance.
• Knowledge of predictive, adaptive, or hybrid delivery approaches.

Responsibilities

• Define major projects and strategic initiatives aligned with priorities.
• Develop integrated project plans with scope, cost, schedule and resources.
• Lead projects through initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout.
• Maintain project controls and timely documentation; manage risks and issues.
• Support program and portfolio planning, KPI tracking and reporting.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration and clear stakeholder communication.
