Job summary

Washington Gas is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead planning and delivery of high-impact strategic initiatives and major infrastructure projects across the U.S. Utilities Enterprise, with some travel within our service territories.

You will define objectives, scope, cost and schedule; develop integrated project plans; lead delivery from initiation through closeout; maintain governance, risk and stakeholder communications; and contribute to PMO standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; PMP certification required.
• 7+ years of progressively responsible project management experience.
• Experience leading complex, cross-functional projects or strategic initiatives.
• Experience with PMO or structured governance environments.
• Knowledge of predictive, adaptive, or hybrid delivery approaches; proficient tools (MS Project, SharePoint, Planner).

Responsibilities

• Define major projects and objectives with business leaders.
• Lead projects through initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout.
• Manage scope, schedule, cost, risks, issues, and stakeholder communications.
• Establish governance, controls, and timely decision-making.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain and other functions for vendor engagement.
