Job summary

Alliant Energy is seeking a Lead Project Manager to oversee gas generation projects from development through commissioning. You will lead the project team, coordinate with Engineering, Procurement and Construction contractors, OE, EOR, and key stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Experience with gas turbine generation preferred; you will mentor others, promote best practices in program management and drive continuous improvement within Alliant Energy's PM framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in PM, IT, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• PMP certification required.
• 8 years of professional experience in program or project management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, construction and commissioning of Gas Generation Projects using Alliant Energy processes.
• Manage project risks and coordinate with EPC contractors, OE, EOR and stakeholders.
• Guide project managers through the project lifecycle and governance.
• Promote and improve PM practices and governance within the program.
• Mentor others in organizational change management within PM context.
