Job summary

Southland Industries seeks a seasoned Project Manager to lead a project team on a large, complex initiative or multiple smaller projects. You will coach, guide, and be the primary contact for the project, delivering status updates to clients and leadership.

Responsibilities include budget oversight, strategy development with management, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure scope and schedule alignment. Strong communication and presentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Engineering or applicable experience.
• Minimum 10 years' experience managing large projects.
• Expert knowledge of HVAC/plumbing & design engineering.
• Excellent verbal and written communication across all levels.
• Proven ability to manage multiple larger complex projects.
• Strong public speaking ability and client presentations.
• Proficient in CADD, ERP and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Develops client relationships by providing project status updates to client and leadership.
• Partners with management to develop and implement project strategies.
• Manages budget reports, cost and revenue projections, change orders, etc.
• Participates in project meetings with internal departments to discuss schedule and issues.
• Partners with stakeholders to ensure project scope and direction stay on schedule.
• Delegates work and mentors the project team; provides coaching and feedback.
