NYC Department of Design and Construction, Public Buildings Division, is seeking a Senior/Associate Project Manager to oversee complex capital projects from conception to close-out. The role requires coordinating with Sponsor Agencies, generating cost estimates, and ensuring delivery schedules.

Qualifications

• One year of supervisory experience in project management for engineering/construction projects ($1,000,000+).
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field plus one year of project management experience; or equivalent.
• Five years of combined education/experience if not holding a bachelor’s degree; Master/JD or NY licensure may supplement experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex capital projects from inception to close-out.
• Generate cost estimates and develop deliverable dates and schedules.
• Supervise design, construction management, and field staff; coordinate with contractors and sponsors.
• Review change orders, ensure safety compliance, and oversee contractor performance.
