Job summary

Southland Industries is seeking a senior project manager to lead a large project team or multiple teams and to serve as the primary contact for the client and internal stakeholders. You will oversee staffing, performance appraisals, develop strategies, and manage budgets, cost and revenue projections, change orders, and project meetings.

Strong leadership, communication, and public speaking skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Engineering or applicable experience.
• Minimum 12 years’ experience with at least 5 years in people management.
• Mastery knowledge of systems design (HVAC, plumbing) and design engineering aspects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with all levels of staff and clients.
• Strong leadership and public speaking abilities.
• Proficient in CAD, ERP and Microsoft Office (Excel).

Responsibilities

• Manage a large project team or multiple small projects, including staffing and performance appraisals.
• Provide project status updates to client and leadership.
• Maintain solid client relationships and source revenue opportunities.
• Develop and implement project strategies and oversee budgets, costs, revenue projections, and change orders.
• Participate in project meetings with internal departments.
• Delegate work and mentor the project team, providing coaching and feedback.
