Job summary

Air Distribution Technologies, Inc. seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead our Commercial Operations Project Management team and own a portfolio of large, high-visibility projects in a Grandview, MO setting.

You will coach Project Managers, balance workloads, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery through influence and strong communication. You will manage cross-functional coordination across Customer Experience, Application Engineering, Channel Partners, and Credit Analysis to keep projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of project management experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
• 3+ years of direct people-management experience formally managing a team of Project Managers.
• PMP certification is required.
• Proven ability to lead through influence and build credibility with teams you don't directly manage.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to senior leadership and customers.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize across multiple concurrent projects.
• Proficiency with project management and scheduling tools (MS Project, Smartsheet) and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the PM team, hiring, coaching, and managing performance.
• Assign projects and balance workloads for large-impact jobs with clear ownership.
• Establish standard PM methodology, templates, and reporting cadence.
• Support PMP certification and bench strength through training.
• Maintain hands-on visibility into the largest, most complex projects across multiple teams.
• Ensure scope, schedules, milestones, and dependencies are documented with named owners.
• Track budget, schedule, and resources and reallocate when risks emerge.
• Serve as primary contact for status across partner teams.
• Identify risks early and escalate to leadership with recommended path.
• Run recurring cross-functional status meetings with transparent risk view.
• Own consolidated status reporting with key metrics and executive-ready updates.
• Proactively flag projects at customer or leadership risk to avoid surprises.
