Job summary

Midwest Machinery is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager / Operations Manager to lead the execution of large, complex projects. This hands-on leadership role manages project delivery, financial performance, and stakeholder coordination across sales, engineering, finance, suppliers, and customers.

You will oversee planning through closeout, drive disciplined processes, manage risks, and develop the team while ensuring safety, on‑time delivery, scope control, and profitable outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in project management, operations, or related industry.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex portfolios.
• Strong financial planning, forecasting, and billing experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects and portfolios from planning through closeout with accountability for schedule, scope, quality, and financials.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, procurement matrices, and milestones across vendors.
• Manage customer relationships with proactive communication and issue resolution.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, suppliers, logistics, and field operations to meet milestones.
• Review contracts and change orders, controlling scope, risks, and pricing.
