Job summary

Air Distribution Limited in Grandview, MO seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead our Commercial Operations Project Management team and own a portfolio of large-impact jobs. You will manage a PM team, ensure resources and ownership, and drive cross-functional coordination with customer experience, engineering, and finance partners.

You will report on schedule, budget, risks, and executive updates, maintaining a clear view of project health and future risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience.
• 8+ years of PM experience leading complex multi-stakeholder projects.
• 3+ years of direct people-management experience.
• PMP certification.
• Ability to lead through influence with teams you don’t directly manage.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to senior leadership.
• Excellent organizational skills and multitasking under pressure.
• Proficient with PM tools (MS Project, Smartsheet) and MS Office.
• Experience delivering projects in Data Center, Education, or Healthcare markets preferred.
• Experience with CRM/ERP systems to track orders and status preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hire, coach, and develop a team of Project Managers and manage performance.
• Assign projects and balance workloads with clear owners.
• Establish a consistent PM methodology, templates, and cadence.
• Build bench strength through training and PMP certification support.
• Maintain hands-on visibility into largest, most complex jobs.
• Ensure scope, schedules, and dependencies are documented with owners.
• Track budget, schedule, and resources and reallocate when at risk.
• Serve as primary contact for status across partner teams.
• Identify risks early and elevate with a path forward.
• Run cross-functional status meetings with a transparent risk view.
• Own consolidated status reporting and executive-ready updates.
• Proactively flag projects with customer/leadership visibility risk.
