Job summary

Ajax Building Company is seeking a driven Project Manager to lead planning and execution of complex construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will partner with field leadership, subcontractors, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.

You will report to the Project Executive and oversee budgets, schedules, procurement, and contract administration while maintaining strong client and team relationships to drive successful

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction project management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• General Contractor License preferred.
• Strong understanding of industry practices and trends and their impact on the corporation.
• Advanced interpersonal, communicative, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Hire, lead, develop, and manage project personnel.
• Lead overall project execution, coordinating field teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Establish and implement project operating procedures.
• Oversee development and management of project budgets and schedules.
• Review and analyze project performance reports to manage cost, schedule, quality, and safety.
• Manage procurement and approve material purchases, equipment rentals, and jobsite tools.
• Serve as primary company representative in communications and negotiations with owners, architects, engineers.
• Oversee contract administration, including approval of agreements and costs.
• Audit and monitor all project activities from contract execution through closeout and warranty.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with project teams, clients, subcontractors, and partners.
• Promote safety, quality, and continuous improvement through participation in initiatives.
