Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC) is seeking a Sr Project Manager to lead high-risk, high-complexity aerospace programs from design through release and closeout. You will develop and execute plans, schedules, and budgets while ensuring all requirements are met.

You will manage a team, interface with customers and field personnel, track milestones and performance, and adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
• 6+ years of project management experience.
• Experience with Earned Value Management.
• Proficiency with project management tools and software.
• Strong leadership and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage high-risk, high-complexity projects with multiple deliverables from initiation to closeout.
• Develop, define, and execute project plans, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Identify and allocate necessary resources for project success.
• Interface with internal and external customers or field-based employees on technical matters.
• Oversee all aspects of the project lifecycle, including proposal development, planning, scope, design, execution, delivery, and closeout.
• Track progress against milestones, budgetary guidelines, and other performance indicators.
• Prepare reports to keep stakeholders informed of project status.
• Ensure agility and flexibility in project management to accommodate frequent changes.
• Manage direct reports or coordinate with a larger support staff to ensure successful project execution.
