Job summary

R-2 Contractors is seeking a Project Manager for heavy civil underground utility-scale power and dry utilities projects. The role involves leading planning, coordination, and execution across multiple sites with travel.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years minimum experience on heavy civil projects.
• Experience with project documentation and building requirements.
• Experience in PM/CM/QC on large-scale power civil work.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Willing to be trained on HCSS HeavyJob/HeavyBid.
• Willing to be trained on Microsoft Project.
• Team player with strong communication and detail orientation.
• Authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background checks.
• Willing to work long hours and travel.

Responsibilities

• New project planning & coordination amongst internal departments, subcontractors, and clients.
• Proper tracking of project completion, daily production rates, materials, equipment usage, changes to conditions, etc.
• Effectively understand the scope of work, terminology, and project documents.
• Read, interpret, understand, and recognize project specifications and drawings; construct the project per design.
• Schedule building and maintenance.
• AP invoice review/approval.
• Monthly billings.
• Timecard review/approval; budget review and understanding.
• Budget maintenance during construction.
• Project projections (material, productivity, manpower, equipment).
• Relationship building (internal/external).
