Job summary

R-2 Contractors, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager for heavy civil underground utility-scale power and dry utilities projects. Position includes 20% travel with offices in Gilbert, AZ or Prineville, OR and a salary range of $125,000–$185,000 DOE.

Responsibilities include project planning, coordination across departments and clients, tracking production, materials, and budgets. Must have 3–5 years in heavy civil, strong communication, and be legally eligible to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years minimum experience on heavy civil projects.
• Experience reading and using multiple project documents to comply with requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate new projects with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients.
• Track progress: production rates, materials, equipment, changes.
• Understand scope and project documents; ensure work aligns with design.
• Read and interpret specifications and drawings; implement per design.
• Schedule building and maintenance; oversee monthly billings and timecards.
• Review budgets and project projections for materials and manpower.
