Job summary

Granite Construction Incorporated is seeking a Project Manager II to lead large, complex heavy civil projects on-site across Texas and surrounding areas. You will direct strategy, safety, schedule, budgets, and risk while collaborating with Superintendents, engineers, and clients to deliver results.

You will oversee finances, resource planning, and subcontractor management, ensuring alignment with contract terms and corporate goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent construction experience.
• 5–10 years progressively responsible heavy civil construction project experience.
• Proven ability to lead complex projects including financials, scheduling, contracts, risk, and client relations.

Responsibilities

• Lead project execution from startup through closeout for large, complex assignments.
• Own project budgets, costs, revenue, and cash flow; monitor performance and take corrective action.
• Develop and manage schedules, contracts, and major commercial obligations; mitigate risks and manage changes.
• Build and maintain client, subcontractor, and stakeholder relationships.
• Coach and develop project staff; drive pursuit alignment with execution plans.
