Job summary

MasTec Civil is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead heavy civil highway and bridge projects in the Central Florida area. The role requires overseeing construction per specifications, on schedule and within budget, while following company policies and project procedures.

The PM will coordinate with owners, engineers, and subcontractors, review contract documents, manage costs, and ensure safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Minimum five years of experience in heavy construction with bridge/road/DOT experience.
• PMP Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule the project, coordinating with division personnel and management.
• Coordinate project activities with Owner/Engineer and submit documents on time.
• Lead staffing and supervise Project Engineer; arrange specialty engineers as needed.
• Review contract documents, understand pay items, and monitor costs.
• Maintain project documentation, diaries, photos, and meeting minutes.
• Ensure safety compliance and interface with Safety Manager.
