Job summary

Aldevron, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Senior Project Manager, Gene Editing in Coralville, IA. You will lead GMP gRNA manufacturing programs, serve as the primary client contact, and drive cross-functional execution from initiation to release and closure.

You’ll develop project plans, manage risks, and align scope with quality and operations while coordinating governance forums and client communications. Travel up to 15% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences or related field, Masters or PhD preferred.
• Experience managing client-facing projects in biotechnology/pharma or CDMO.
• Understanding GMP product manufacturing from initiation through release capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary client contact for gene editing and gRNA manufacturing programs.
• Lead project team meetings and governance forums to ensure alignment on scope, timelines, risks, and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain project plans, status reports, risk registers, and client/internal communications.
• Manage client expectations while balancing business, quality, and operational requirements.
• Identify, manage, and escalate critical risks and issues, driving timely resolution.
