Job summary

Aldevron, part of the Danaher family, offers a remote Senior Commercial Product Manager role focused on leading gene editing product commercialization and expanded portfolio management. You will work with cross-functional teams to establish market-leading positioning, pricing, and growth strategies.

Reporting to the Vice President, Gene Editing Therapeutics, this role requires deep life-science domain knowledge and the ability to drive global projects with customers and partners.

Responsibilities

• Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Finance, Legal, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Quality, and other teams to launch and manage Gene Editing products and services, including gene editing-specific solutions that leverage Aldevron’s manufacturing and CDMO expertise, while delivering differentiated messaging, value propositions, tactical marketing plans, collateral, and training tools.
• Develop plans and pricing strategies to forecast and achieve annual orders, revenue, and margin growth objectives across the gene editing workflow to meet top and bottom-line financial results.
• Manage the mid-to-late stage lifecycle of products and custom manufacturing services focusing on growth and optimization to end-of-life strategy.
• Enable Commercial teams by delivering sales training for new and on-market products, own actions to support funnel and opportunity growth, support key accounts, and act as product lead for key client discussions and escalations.
• Serve as a subject matter expert - with a customer-centric point of view - for Gene Editing products and their target markets/customers by providing regular analysis of market, regulatory trends and competitors to establish multi-year product forecasts and identify opportunities to improve current products.

The Senior Commercial Product Manager is responsible for leading product commercialization and sustaining Aldevron’s expanding Gene Editing Therapeutic product portfolio and services working with functions across the organization to establish a market-leading position. You will manage existing clinical and commercial products & services by executing commercial launches as defined by Product Strategy, and working with our commercial teams and partners to maximize growth and differentiation of current portfolio. This position reports to the Vice President, Gene Editing Therapeutics and is part of the Gene Editing Business Unit and will be fully remote.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: Ability to travel up to 30% of the time, including international.

Preferred Experience

• Strong cell and gene therapy, gene editing, and/or life science industry understanding
• Influencing all levels of an organization including Senior and Functional Leaders to lead change without direct supervisory leverage.
• Working cross-functionally with a globally distributed team.

Salary

The annual salary range for this role is $140,000 to $170,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
