Job summary

Pavion is seeking a talented and motivated Project Manager to join our fire business unit in the New York area, overseeing large-scale installations at JFK Terminals 1 & 6. This role demands rigorous scheduling, cross-team liaison, and revenue-recognition expertise.

You will manage submittals, permitting, and as-built documentation, coordinate with executives, and steer multiple projects to successful completion while ensuring safety, compliance with NYC FD codes, and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of project management experience on large-scale jobs.
• Knowledge of NYC FD code requirements.
• Valid Driver License.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all facets of the JFK job including Terminals 1 and 6.
• Scheduling, Liaison between EC and GC, Applicable Change Orders, Percentage of Completion (Revenue Recognition).
• Perform pre-sales or post-award engineering assessments to provide our sales force with the most cost-effective solution for both material and labor.
• Prepare submittals and permitting documents as well as O&M Manuals and As-Builts upon job completion.
• Communicating with executives or the board to keep the project aligned with their goals.
• Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project.
• Serving as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy.
• Management and logistical support of multiple ongoing projects.
• Manpower coordination/Sub-contractor management.
• Permitting and inspection coordination with AHJ.
