Job summary

Pavion in Ashburn, VA is seeking a talented Project Manager to join our security business unit. You will plan, coordinate, and execute projects to Pavion standards, balancing scope, schedule, and budget while collaborating with engineering and field teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience as a Project Manager with 5+ years’ industry experience.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Holds or is actively pursuing a CAPM or PMP certification.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point, Microsoft Project, among others.
• Excellent oral, written communication and customer service skills are essential.
• Available to work outside of, or in addition to, normal business hours when needed.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, maintain a positive attitude, and contribute to Pavion’s success.
• Professional demeanor and appearance in line with company standards.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of company and customer information.
• Adherence to company policies, procedures, and direction from management.
• Ability to accurately complete required project documentation and reporting tasks.
• Proficiency in submitting timekeeping and project-related reporting information in a timely and accurate manner.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute projects according to technical standards and goals.
• Manage all work according to Pavion standards and installation practices.
• Plan and schedule engineering, installation, and subcontracting activities.
• Maintain current project plans, specifications, and schedules.
• Prepare and manage installation plans and procedures.
• Maintain accurate project information in Pavion platforms.
• Identify and implement changes in design, price, or plan; generate change orders.
• Identify and mitigate project risks to maintain scope, schedule, and budget.
• Coordinate task scheduling with other trades and manage day-to-day activities.
• Lead project management team meetings and maintain records of status, changes, and material flow.
• Prepare reports for internal and external use and interact with engineering during design and drafting phases.
• Maintain backlog with accurate estimates and anticipated close dates.
