Job summary

WSP USA seeks an organized, analytical Senior Professional, Project Management for our Seattle, WA office to support financial management and project controls within the Transportation and Infrastructure practice.

The role involves monitoring budgets, forecasting project needs, preparing client reports, supporting invoicing, and ensuring contracts stay compliant and audit-ready across multiple active projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience supporting project financials and controls.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, invoicing, and financial reporting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience in preparing executive-level reports and dashboards.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor project budgets, labor utilization, and contract performance across multiple project assignments.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, forecasts, and project performance summaries.
• Manage subconsultant contract documentation and financial reporting in accordance with the contract.
• Track margin erosion and rate adjustments on contracts; submit annual rate changes.
• Support project managers with earned revenue projections, backlog tracking, and resource forecasting.
• Assist with budget development, task order tracking, and contract modifications.
• Identify budget risks and recommend corrective actions.
