Job summary

WSP USA seeks an organized, analytical Deputy Project Manager in Seattle to manage project finances, reporting, and contract administration within our Construction Management practice.

You will support multiple active assignments, helping project managers with budgeting, forecasting, invoicing, and client reporting while ensuring audit-ready project records and compliance across funded projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience supporting project financials, project controls, project management, or construction management programs.
• Strong understanding of project budgeting, forecasting, invoicing, and financial reporting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience preparing executive-level reports and dashboards.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Monitor project budgets, labor utilization, and contract performance across multiple construction management assignments.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, forecasts, and project performance summaries.
• Support project managers with earned revenue projections, backlog tracking, and resource forecasting.
• Review labor charges, consultant invoices, reimbursable expenses, and project expenditures for accuracy.
• Assist with budget development, task order tracking, and contract modifications.
• Identify budget risks and recommend corrective actions before impacts occur.
