Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead and motivate a team in day-to-day management of safety, quality, schedule, and cost for EPC and construction projects. You will oversee contracts, risk, procurement, and client relations, guiding teams from inception to completion.

The role involves directing project controls, reporting, and staff management, while ensuring on-time delivery within budget and adherence to safety programs across diverse industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering, construction management or related field from accredited program.
• 17 years of applicable experience preferred.
• Experience on construction sites or executing program management in multiple industries.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work overtime on short notice.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for multi-discipline projects from concept to completion.
• Lead teams and coordinate activities of multiple disciplines for cost-effective staffing.
• Manage project communications and client relations.
• Oversee RFP development, bid process, and scope documents.
• Monitor schedules, control scope, and manage costs.
• Coordinate prime/subcontracting and change orders and risk reviews.
• Ensure QA/QC adherence and compliance with safety policies.
