Job summary

Exelon is seeking a Project Manager to lead transmission, substation, distribution, gas, and IT initiatives with cross-functional teams. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, and safety, and guide projects through capital approvals and closeout.

Responsibilities include communicating with sponsors and executives, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring team performance. This role requires CAPM/PMP and a track record of delivering complex programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• CAPM certification or achieve CAPM within two years; PMP fulfills this.
• Demonstrated success at managing projects.
• Ability to work independently and lead teams with competing priorities.
• Strong judgment, interpersonal and time management skills.
• Valid driver's license and access to an automobile.

Responsibilities

• Overall project performance accountability for major transmission, substation, distribution, and gas projects.
• Manage costs, schedule and scope; develop recovery plans to stay within limits.
• Interface with external and internal stakeholders to coordinate requirements.
• Communicate with sponsor and stakeholders at executive level and across departments.
• Maintain good relationships between project team, line managers and interfacing orgs.
• Coach and lead team members to complete assigned tasks.
• Identify and obtain project team resources.
• Ensure team members understand their responsibilities.
