GE Vernova seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale electrical substation EPC programs for utility and data center clients. You will oversee scope, schedule, budget, and risk while coordinating with engineering, procurement, and field teams to ensure safe, on-time delivery.

You will manage complex commercial aspects, interface with customers, and mentor teams across functions in a fast-paced environment on West Coast initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited college or university.
• 10+ years of project management experience in EPC electrical substation and high-voltage power systems projects.
• Experience managing complex, customer-facing projects with accountability for financial, operational, and commercial performance.
• Strong knowledge of project controls, scheduling, forecasting, contract management, and risk mitigation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored visa support.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%, including occasional international travel.
• Must comply with applicable company travel and tax policies.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of large, complex electrical substation projects, including greenfield and brownfield programs for utility and data center customers.
• Own overall project performance, including scope, schedule, budget, cash flow, risk, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Serve as the primary interface with customers, ensuring strong communication, issue resolution, and trust throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and drive project execution strategies that support safe, efficient, and on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, manufacturing, field services, subcontractors, and customer stakeholders to meet objectives.
• Lead project planning, forecasting, reporting, and performance reviews with visibility into progress and financial health.
• Manage contract administration, change orders, claims, and commercial discussions in line with contractual requirements.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, technical, and contractual standards.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and drive resolution of issues impacting cost or schedule.
• Support proposal development, pre-award planning, and project turnover activities.
• Mentor and guide project team members to foster accountability and continuous improvement.
