Job summary

GE Vernova’s Grid Systems Integration seeks a Lead Project Manager to steer large, complex substation programs from planning through delivery, coordinating engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction, commissioning and field handover.

You will provide governance, reporting and risk visibility to leadership, translating detailed project performance into clear insights for internal teams and external stakeholders, while ensuring safety, quality and contractual compliance across all

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, operations, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of project management experience in substations, grid infrastructure, or large industrial projects.
• Advanced degree or certifications (PMP, Lean, Six Sigma) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of large, complex substation projects and coordinate multiple workstreams.
• Establish governance, tracking, and leadership reporting for project status.
• Drive planning, scheduling, cost, quality, and safety in alignment with contracts.
• Communicate with customers and stakeholders to resolve technical and commercial issues.
• Support closing activities, lessons learned, and transition to warranty.
