Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Senior Project Manager to provide execution leadership for large, high-risk substation and FACTS projects, driving scope, cost, schedule and risk management with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include leading project teams, interfacing with senior customer contacts, managing resources, and ensuring compliance with safety and engineering standards, while directing contracts and controlling costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university
• 8+ years experience in project management of electrical substations or related field
• Ability and willingness to travel 25% of the time, may include international travel

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of large, high-visibility substation and FACTS projects
• Act as single point of contact for senior customer contacts and project teams
• Oversee planning, directing and controlling resources to meet customer specs, quality and safety standards
• Estimate budgets and monitor costs to ensure on-time completion within budget
• Coordinate with multiple engineering disciplines and support functions for project development and control
