Job summary

GE Vernova’s Grid Solutions North America region seeks a Project Engineering Manager to lead a multi-discipline technical project team for AC power substations, coordinating with vendors and customers, and performing hands-on design work as needed.

The PEM will own scheduling, budgets, QA, design deliverables (SLDs, layouts, grounding, bus, BOMs), travel up to 20%, and serve as the primary technical lead across interfaces.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited university.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all technical aspects of AC power substation projects.
• Serve as the primary technical lead, responsible for scheduling, standards compliance, and budgeting.
• Develop and oversee design deliverables including power single-line diagrams, substation layouts, grounding, and BOMs.
• Act as the single point of contact for technical matters between customers, vendors, and engineering teams.
• Drive cross-discipline coordination to deliver fully integrated substation solutions.
