Job summary

Southland Industries is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead a large complex project or multiple smaller projects from the Fort Worth area. You will coach the project team, maintain strong client communications, and drive project strategies from initiation through closeout.

The role requires a four-year engineering degree, 10+ years of experience, and expertise in HVAC and plumbing design engineering, with a track record of handling budgets, schedules, and multi-department coordination.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Engineering or applicable experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with all levels.
• Proven ability to manage multiple larger complex projects.
• Strong public speaking and proposal-presentation abilities.
• Experience with design engineering aspects of HVAC/plumbing systems.

Responsibilities

• Develops client relationships by providing project status updates to client and leadership.
• Partners with management to develop and implement project strategies.
• Manages budget reports, cost and revenue projections, change orders, etc. for projects.
• Participates in project meetings with internal departments to discuss project schedule and issues as needed.
• Partners with stakeholders to ensure scope and direction of project is on schedule.
• Delegates work and mentors project team, providing coaching and feedback.
