Job summary

WEG Electric Corp. is seeking a Senior Project Manager to independently lead complex customer projects, EPC projects, and engineered-to-order equipment programs across the full lifecycle.

You will interface with customers, drive schedules, manage risk, and coordinate across engineering, manufacturing, and field service to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. The role demands strong commercial judgment, technical leadership, and experience with high-value orders in the energy and power systems

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience supporting electrical equipment, rotating equipment, energy systems, manufacturing, industrial systems, or large capital projects.
• PMP certification preferred
• 8+ years advanced understanding of electrical industrial systems, rotating equipment, motors, generators, power electronics, and system integration
• Demonstrated experience managing complex, customer-facing technical projects required
• Advanced knowledge of industry standards including NEMA, IEC, IEEE, UL

Responsibilities

• Independently lead multiple concurrent projects, programs, or strategic customer orders from handoff to closeout.
• Serve as primary customer interface throughout project execution and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
• Establish execution strategies, schedules, milestones, and acceptance criteria aligned with contracts.
• Lead kickoff meetings, execution reviews, risk reviews, and closeout activities.
• Manage scope, change management within authority, and secure required approvals.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, field service, procurement, and logistics.
