Job summary

Aurora is seeking a Project Manager II to independently lead cross-functional projects within Command Center Operations. You will translate complex operational needs into structured plans, align stakeholders, and drive initiatives from definition through implementation and sustained adoption.

The role requires 5+ years in project/operations management, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. Hybrid work model with a Texas-based team.

Qualifications

• Safety-focused and able to understand interconnected systems.
• 5+ years in project/program/operations management or related field.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives from planning to implementation.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with scope, milestones, risks, resources, and success measures.
• Strong problem-solving, judgment, and ability to create structure in ambiguity.
• Understanding of development operations and its relation to commercial ops.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to influence across stakeholders.
• Experience using data, metrics, dashboards, or reporting tools to inform decisions and performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead moderately complex projects from definition through implementation with scope, milestones, risks, and success metrics.
• Manage multiple initiatives with shifting priorities and cross-functional dependencies.
• Use metrics and stakeholder feedback to identify improvements and implement changes.
• Lead cross-functional teams to define requirements and drive decisions.
• Identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and escalate issues with clear recommendations.
• Develop scalable processes and SOPs to strengthen operational readiness.
• Drive adoption of new technologies, tools, workflows, and capabilities.
