Job summary

Aurora is seeking a Senior Manager of Program Management for Development Test Operations to lead a team of Program Managers embedded with engineering groups. You will set a program vision, coordinate the portfolio, and establish governance and standards to create a standardized, predictable PM organization.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Program Management, Project Management, or Technical Operations.
• 5+ years directly managing a team of Program/Project Managers.
• Experience standardizing reporting and operating cadence across distributed teams.
• Strong fluency across software/hardware development workflows translating plans into test programs.
• Proven ability managing expectations with Engineering leadership and Planning stakeholders.
• Experience in cross-functional, fast-paced environments with shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Own strategic planning and alignment for the team, setting vision, coordinating test programs and governance.
• Manage, coach, and develop a team of Program Managers with consistent operating norms.
• Own program-level planning and quality across all engineering areas supported by the team.
• Ensure PMs are single points of contact with their engineering areas, with clear escalations.
• Manage resources, budget, and track dependencies.
• Share test program risks and mitigations with stakeholders.
• Review QA trends and drive root-cause fixes with Engineering and Operations.
• Drive process improvement by standardizing workflows and establishing metrics.
