Job summary

The Project Manager at Messer Americas leads multi-discipline teams to deliver capital projects safely, on time and within budget. You will manage new plant projects, upgrades, and retrofits, often supporting Senior and Principal Project Managers on large initiatives.

Required are a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, 5 years’ experience in capital project delivery, and the ability to travel 30-40% annually. Messer offers comprehensive benefits and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, mechanical, electrical, or other relevant discipline.
• 5 years’ experience in capital project implementation with demonstrated ability to manage scope, schedule and budget.
• Ability to travel 30-40% (60-80 nights per year).

Responsibilities

• Oversee proposal development and project execution of major capital projects up to $10,000,000 in CAPEX.
• Manage project activities through the full project cycle including engineering, scheduling, budgeting and commissioning.
• Coordinate safety reviews, Hazops, MOCs, and punch lists; ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
