Job summary

Messer Americas is seeking a Project Manager to lead capital projects, ensuring safe, on‑time and on‑budget delivery. You will guide multi‑discipline teams through all project phases, from proposal to closeout, including engineering coordination and vendor management. The Senior PM may handle multiple projects and support larger initiatives with Principal PMs.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in the implementation of capital projects with demonstrated ability to develop a technical scope, schedule and budget.
• Ability to travel 30-40% (60-80 nights / year).

Responsibilities

• Oversee proposal development and project execution of major capital projects for Messer LLC.
• Manage all project activities throughout project cycle; generally up to $10,000,000 in CAPEX with 2-3 projects simultaneously.
• Coordinate engineering, design, schedules, budgets, and monthly status reports; oversee construction and commissioning.
• Qualify vendors, negotiate pricing, and coordinate with Procurement.
• Ensure projects meet safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.
• Deliver complete project documentation and maintain effective communication with stakeholders.
