Job summary

Modigent is seeking a Project Manager - Controls to lead commercial building automation projects nationwide. You will manage controls technicians and coordinate with stakeholders to meet scope, schedule, and performance. The role emphasizes safety, profitability, and mentorship across our operating companies.

You will collaborate with upper management, manage budgets, and identify value engineering opportunities while fostering a people-first culture and sustainable building solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience leading controls, building automation, or mechanical projects.
• Bachelors in Engineering/Construction Management or equivalent.
• Certifications in controls are a plus; OSHA 30 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage controls technicians to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams for risk and scope management.
• Develop schedules and budgets from bid documents and drawings.
• Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance on site.
• Mentor team members and drive performance evaluations.
