Job summary

Albireo Energy is seeking a Construction Project Manager in Tampa, FL to oversee turnkey projects from scope through turnover. You will coordinate engineers, subcontractors, design submittals, and commissioning activities to deliver on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in construction project management, experience with BMS/SCADA systems, drafting tools like ACAD or Visio, and strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field preferred; equivalent combination considered.
• Minimum 5 years of Construction Project Management experience.
• Hardware and Software Design for BMS and/or Process Controls.
• ACAD or Visio drafting skills.
• Software configuration and programming for BMS/SCADA PLC systems.
• HVAC and Mechanical System Checkout, Startup, and Commissioning.
• 5 years journeyman level experience in building trades; related technical training.
• 3–5 years of relevant field experience with knowledge and abilities.
• Experience leading, coaching and mentoring others; strong communication.
• Open-door policy mindset and ability to work in an entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Account Managers with project estimating, scope development and design for turnkey projects.
• Develop Sub-Contractor scope of work documentation.
• Manage hardware and software design submittals, installation drawings, sequences, and commissioning docs.
• Schedule project software development, installation and commissioning.
• Oversee field technicians’ startup and commissioning efforts.
• Maintain up-to-date As-Built docs and turnover packages to Owner.
• Handle project documentation including submittals, RFIs, schedules, safety compliance, commissioning.
• Oversee engineers and subcontractors to ensure on-time, to-spec work.
• Manage contracts and sub-contracts; oversee project closeout.
• Track costs vs. budget; forecast financial performance.
