Job summary

Fluence Energy, LLC is seeking a Senior Project Manager to own the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale Battery Energy Storage System projects. You will lead cross-functional teams across engineering, procurement, logistics, construction, and commissioning, coordinating with clients and suppliers to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role requires a BS/BA in engineering, 10+ years in energy/BESS projects, and experience with $100M+ contracts.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 10+ years of experience managing large-scale industrial, power, energy, renewable energy, or BESS projects.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
• Experience managing projects with contract values of approximately $100M+.
• Strong leadership, collaboration, and influencing skills.
• PMP Certification preferred; Lean or Six Sigma certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of large-scale BESS projects, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource management.
• Monitor project progress against the master schedule and drive resolution of schedule, cost, and execution risks.
• Manage and coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, procurement, logistics, construction, and commissioning.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, contractors, and internal teams.
• Track project performance, prepare status updates, and maintain visibility of key deliverables and action items.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, manage escalations, and support issue and claims resolution.
• Ensure project documentation, reporting, and compliance requirements are maintained.
